Indian Chai Tea

Indian Chai Tea s the Official Tea of India

India flag today

Indian Chai Tea is the official tea of India. When made in the traditional style, it is spiced, delicious, and it packs a caffeine punch! At first sip, it has a familiar black tea flavor, along with milk and the desired amount of sugar. However, a delicious spiced masala flavor comes through to tantalize your taste buds!

It is not like the tea we are accustomed to drinking in the United States or the United Kingdom. Real Indian Chai Tea is made with care, normally in a pot with actual spices and milk, if desired. It is delicious and it requires specific ingredients that must be prepared in a particular way to obtain the desired end result, which is delicious, hot and somewhat perfectly spiced tea!

That's right, this tea is prepared using the famous Indian ingredient masala. It's very different from that stuff sold at your local coffee shop, but it certainly has the ability to wake you quickly!

This tea must be prepared properly, and when it is, it's delicious. In fact, one cup may not be enough, so its not a bad idea to make a batch where your friends or family can enjoy two cups each. Be sure to make enough!

Indian Chai Tea Ingredients

Some of the ingredients may be unfamiliar to you; that's okay. Simply look for your local Indian Grocery store to find any ingredients that you are unable to find at your regular supermarkets. Indian Grocery Stores are typically small businesses who are happy to help you find the ingredients that you need, and they appreciate your business!

That being said, more and more grocery stores are carrying Indian foods and spices these days, so you may be able to find the ingredients wherever you do your regular grocery shopping.

I have also noticed that many online grocery retailers, such as Amazon, carry the ingredients you need to make Indian Chai Tea.

In the Country of India, and in many Indian households across the world, Indian Chai Tea is enjoyed at home with breakfast, in the afternoon, and sometimes with dinner as well.

It is served out on the vibrant streets of India, in Indian tea shops, and even in fine stores. Thats right! When you are shopping at fine stores in India, Indian Chai Tea is often served while you try on clothes, wedding dresses, or make a decision on an Indian rug purchase.

A lot of Indian people enjoy drinking their Indian Chai Tea with crispy and flaky pastries or biscuits. In India, it is the most popular breakfast and afternoon beverage. Its popularity in India is similar to coffee's popularity in the United States.

When shopping in India, it customary to be served this tasty beverage, and it is tough to turn down. One interesting aspect of Indian Chai Tea is that it is normally drunken out of a bowl. If you want a real Indian dining experience, you must include real India chai Tea.
